Getting Started
What is Oblivion?
Oblivion lets you invest in curated portfolios on Solana. You pick a vault (portfolio), deposit funds, and the protocol handles the rest — rebalancing, yield optimization, and asset management. Think of it like buying an ETF, but on-chain.
Connecting Your Wallet
- Visit the Oblivion app
- Click Connect Wallet in the top right
- Select your Solana wallet (Phantom, Solflare, Backpack, etc.)
- Approve the connection
You'll need SOL for transaction fees and USDC for deposits.
Exploring Vaults
Browse available vaults on the Explore page. Each vault shows:
- Name and description: what the curator's strategy is
- Allocations: what assets the vault holds and in what proportions
- TVL: total value locked (how much is deposited)
- Performance: returns since creation
- Fee: annual management fee
- Rebalance cadence: how often it rebalances (weekly/monthly/quarterly)
Making a Deposit
1. Register Your Deposit Address
On your first deposit to a vault, you'll need to register. This creates your on-chain position and escrow account. This is a one-time setup per vault.
2. Fund Your Escrow
Transfer USDC to your escrow address. This is the staging account where funds wait to be processed.
3. Wait for Processing
A keeper bot picks up your deposit and processes it. You'll receive vault shares proportional to the vault's current NAV (net asset value). The keeper takes a small incentive fee from the deposit.
4. Track Your Position
Once processed, you can see:
- Your vault shares
- Current position value in USD
- All-time return
- Loyalty points earned
Withdrawing
- Go to the vault detail page
- Enter how many shares to withdraw
- Confirm the transaction
You'll receive your proportional share of all assets in the vault. If the vault holds USDC and SOL, you'll get both tokens proportional to the vault's current allocation.
What About Fees?
As a depositor, you pay:
- Keeper incentive: a small fee deducted from each deposit (before share minting)
- Management fee: an annual fee that slowly dilutes your shares over time (like an ETF expense ratio)
There are no withdrawal fees.
